Thanks for sharing your experience with TIC program and the link for the newspaper article. As you are aware Jim does are tremendous job with the TIC program for the chapter. If you're available the chapter has its annual picnic at the Youghiogheny Outflow shelter on July 17, 2010. We hope to see you there.

Turkeyfoot Trout Unlimited Experience

We would really like to thank Chestnut Ridge Chapter of Trout Unlimited for their support in our trout in the classroom project. We had an incredibly successful year with the project, releasing 180 fingerlings into Mill Run Stream in Mill Run, PA. My students and I loved the program and really learned a tremendous amount about the trout lifecycle, watersheds, maintenance of the tank, and implications of brook trout on the native streams. I would alos really like to thank Jim Tobal who was incredible during the entire year and during the release. He was always willing to answer any questions, bring us resources, check in to see how things were going, etc. We had a wonderful article in the newspaper as well:http://www.dailyamerican.com/articles/2010/05/15/sports/local/sports144.txt.

Brookies

The yough has been trashed. I was disappointed to see the muddy mess the tailrace had become recently.
I got some solace by catching these brookies in a nearby stream
